On the hills of Valdera, immersed in a unique enviroment, stands a nineteenth-century country residence situated in a strategic position between Pisa and Florence, at about one hour from Lucca, Volterra and the sea and at about half an hour from San Gimignano.
As soon as we pass through the gate of the villa we savour the memories and the emotions of our history, thanks to the allure of this beautiful estate, which is dominated by the manor house situated at the end of the drive.
The building is built on two floors, for a total of about 650 square metres, partitioned this way: large hall with an ancient fireplace; dining room; kitchen with a corner fireplace and a contiguous cellar bored in the tuff; smoking room; two studies; bathroom; back hall with a professional kitchen, larder, bathroom, laundry and two garages.
The first floor whereas is composed by four en-suite double bedrooms, each one with a wardrobe.
There is also a turret consisting in a third floor with another bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
Next to the villa there is a dominant medieval stone tower that dates back to the 13th century. It is probably an ancient sighting tower, well restored and composed by a room and a cooking area at the ground floor; bedroom with en-suite bathroom at the first floor; study at the second floor; a scenic terrace at the third floor with a delightful 360 degrees panorama view from Florence to Pisa.
The property, which also includes a 100 square metres building and two 400 square metres farmworker's cottage to be restored, is surrounded by about 21 hectares of land, with vineyard, olive grove, orchard, wood and a park. In this park there is a private chapel.
In the garden there are some jares of great value, belonged to one of the most famous Italian aristocratic families. The villa is furnished with antique furniture, vintage crockery and glassware and has a polished style.
